About the Financial Standing Certificate
A financial standing certificate shows a buyer that a bidder has the financial capacity to complete a contract. In many GeM bids, the seller declares this on company letterhead and supports it with audited accounts or ITRs.
Use this tool for a self-declaration. If the bid asks for a Chartered Accountant's certificate or a bank solvency certificate, this does not replace it.
Printing on your own letterhead
Choose Printed letterhead and set the space from the top so the text starts below your company header. Put your letterhead in the printer, select Actual size (100%) in the print window, and test on one plain sheet held against the letterhead before using the real thing.
If you have your letterhead as a file, choose Upload letterhead instead, so the PDF is ready to upload to GeM with your header already on it.

Frequently asked questions
What is a financial standing certificate?
It is a statement that a firm has sound finances and the capacity to perform a contract. Depending on the bid, it may be a self-declaration or be issued by a Chartered Accountant or bank.
Is this the same as a bank solvency certificate?
No. A solvency certificate is issued by a bank. This tool creates the bidder's own declaration.
Should I add turnover figures?
Add them if the bid asks for them. They must match your audited financial statements or the turnover shown on your GeM profile.
